The Kuwait Dyslexia Association Shares their Diagnosis Expertise at the Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties:

Within the framework of the external activities of the Kuwaiti Dyslexia Association, and the joint cooperation between the Association and the Sharjah Center for Learning Disabilities, Mr. Al-Qatami visited the Center in the United Arab Emirates, based on the desire of the Center to establish full training for specialists in the Center, led by Mr. Mohammed Al-Qatami.

 

The training included a number of sessions and workshops for the center’s specialists regarding the KDA diagnosis programs: CoPS Arabic (elementary), Dyslexia diagnosis program for the middle age group (intermediate level), and Dyslexia diagnosis program for the upper age group (secondary level), the workshops covered the definition of the programs, their application, methods and ways of data analysis and reporting.

It is worth mentioning that the training was applied over two days at the Sharjah Center for Learning Disabilities, in two shifts; morning and evening, and included training courses, workshops, lectures and practical applications of the diagnosis programs, provided by Mr. Mohammed Al-Qatami.

The training began on Sunday, May 7, 2017 with a workshop on CoPS Arabic, and closure was on Monday, May 8, 2017 with a workshop on the practical application of the diagnosis programs.
